Suffering
Suffering is a catalyst for growth, for change, for transformation.
It is life force telling us that we need to evolve, that something is off or it’s time to align with our true calling in this life. It’s a signal that we are living too much in the ego/thinking mind and it’s time to align with our inner life force, our inner soul, our divine nature, our truth.
Suffering pushes us to see what we refuse to see. It rattles us to our core so that we can go beyond who we think we are to the truth of who we really are. It’s the universal call to come back to truth. Truth wants us to thrive and be content and peaceful and one with all things. But many of us have gone adrift from this, have become lost, have been taken by the wave of society that lives by the ego mind. But truth wants to awaken to truth. It wants to ignite your being with empowerment and in order to do that it has to shed, dissolve, dismember you so that you can see through the illusions into the truth of who you really are.
Suffering is hard, suffering can be unbearable, suffering can break you and tear your apart. It pushes you outside of your thinking mind, because when you suffer it’s the mind that suffers, not you at your core. Suffering shows you the way, it forces you to let go of who you are not.
Suffering is the volcano of hot lava that spills into your being and leaves you in ashes.
But what does ash do? It catalyzes beautiful, beautiful growth. It gives life to plants and helps life flourish.
Ash is the beginning of a new era of flourishing. When you break, when you fall, when you crash, you dissolve, you fall apart. But where there is ash and where there are cracks, life force and light shine through. And the more you fall apart, the more you dissolve, the more you let go, let in and let be, the more that life, that light, that your true being will shine through. It is who you are. It is your true nature, your life force, your soul, your heart and your being. But it can’t be who you are meant to be when thinking, beliefs and the ego are running the show. A life lead from the thinking ego mind is a life of confusion, misalignment, the swing between good and bad, and times of deep suffering. Let suffering be your guide. It is there to mark the way. Go within and find who is suffering and why and heed the lessons it is trying to say.
The lessons are always there if we are willing to learn and they always lead to the truth of who we really are.
