The Transition to YOU
Within a Dark Night of the Soul, the transition might be the hardest part. The transition comes after you have dissolved the old you, after you have dissolved the ego. It comes after you have walked through the void between the old you, the fear based you, and the new you, the new spirit aligned you.
The transition essentially feels like a battle taking place inside of you.
There is the old you. The fear based, limiting beliefs you, the ego you. This you is comfortable, it likes it’s illusionary safe guards and walls that it has put around itself. It’s attached to its beliefs about comfort. It does not want to go anywhere.
Then there is the new you. The inner truth you. The universal life force you. The spirit aligned, soul aligned you. This new you is establishing itself as your new mode of operating. It is flow, alignment and truth to who you are at your essence.
These modes of operating essentially embark on an epic battle within you and to say that this is challenging and painful is an understatement.
One minute you are flowing effortlessly and feel the creative expression and limitlessness of the entire universe and the next you are whiplashed back into fear-based habit energies that feel like a bulldozer careening through your center.
This is so hard.
The old you does not want to let go. It wants to keep you safe. It wants to keep doing its job. But the fierceness of the new you, the fierceness of coming into alignment with who you truly are will not let this happen. It is too strong. It is too fierce. It will not let you go. Even when you keep falling down, and falling down, and falling down, it has you, it is you and it will not let you go.
Internally it might feel like a sucker punch to the gut, or a fist squeezing your heart. It might feel like crying until you have nothing left, it might feel like hopelessness. It might feel like fear gripping you to the core.
But the fierceness of life force will continue to slice through. It will continue to shine a light on who you truly are. The old ego self will fight, but it will not win. Because you are not meant to stay stagnate in your old limiting beliefs. The universe is you and it wants you to thrive. It wants you to embrace who you truly are and come alive with the fierceness that is inside of you.
It will shine a light on what you need to come to terms with and what you need to face and it will keep shining a light on it until you listen. Until you are ready. Until you are ready to embody the wholeness of who you are—both messy, imperfect human and divine embodiment of the universe incarnate.
Until you come into alignment from both your humanness and your divine being it will hurt. But the truth of your essence won’t let you fail. You will realize that honoring who you are to your core is the only way. And that will ignite the new you in full force. Because it’s just you at the end of the day. And it was never anybody else, and all truth was trying to do was to get you to just see this. To align with this. To be this. That’s the beauty of it all. It is you. It is you without conditioning. It’s just you. The messy, silly, imperfect you. That is spiritual awakening. It’s just YOU.
